Building and Zoning
You may work with Construction and Zoning Permit applications. Functions include a construction public inquiry function to search by applications by address, the ability to submit new construction and zoning applications, add supporting documentation to existing applications, pay balances and request inspections.
Apply for Construction PermitsA permit is required when a party wishes to construct or modify buildings on a property, install septic tank, or request road opening permit. Detailed plans must accompany the application.
Request a Construction InspectionYou will need your permit number; select the type of inspection you need and search our inspector availabilities. Use the Search function above if you can't remember your permit number.
Department of Code Enforcement/Bureau of Housing Inspections
The following applications are now available online from the Department of Code Enforcement and Bureau of Housing Inspections.
Apply for a Property InspectionApply for a Certificate of Continued Occupancy inspection. This inspection is required when residential property is sold or for changes in tenancy for residential rental properties.
Fees for the inspection depend on the type of certificate requested and type of property being inspected. All Fees must be paid in full before an inspection will be scheduled.
